The Breeze artificial lung ventilator is an up-to-date electrically driven microprocessor controlled apparatus designed for extended ventila­tion of adult patients and children above 6-year old in conditions of intensive therapy departments and reanimation departments of the in-patient care establishments.

Breeze ventilator provides for

CONDITIONING (humidification and heating) of the breathing mixture with the humidifier (the heating temperature is maintained automatically) that provides for normal conditions of the extended ventilation.

DISINFECTION of the breathing line carried out repeatedly without its disman­tling by the thermal steam-and-air method with the steam generator which is a component of the Ventilator set.

AUTOMATIC MAINTENANCE of the preselected parameters of ventilation (minute ventilation, breathing frequency, inhalation and expiration duration, breathing mixture temperature, etc.) with the microprocessor.

The Ventilator provides for the following modes of operation:
* Automatic ventilation (CMV);
* Automatic ventilation + SIGN (CMV+S);
* Trigger ventilation (A+CMV);
* Synchronized ventilation (SIMV);
* Intermittent Mandatory ventilation (IMV);
* Spontaneous ventilation (SB);
* Ventilation with the flow support (BiF);
* Ventilation with the positive pressure
at the end of expiration (PEEP);
* Ventilation with constant positive pressure (CPAP);
* Manual ventilation without power supply;
* Operation with inhalation anaesthesia using nitrous oxide;
* “Plateau” mode.

The Ventilator is equipped with the audible and light emergency warning system which operates in case of exceeding the breathing mixture temperature above +40°C, unforseen cutting-off the power supply, seal failure of the breathing line, fluctuation of oxygen concentration in respiration mixture from preset value over 15% and warning of preset inhalation pressure limiting level.
